Warranty Policy
Comprehensive Coverage for Your Infrastructure
JMAX Technology Co., Ltd. is committed to delivering high-quality server hardware. This Warranty Policy details the coverage terms for different product categories and outlines the procedure for warranty claims.
1. Warranty Coverage by Condition
The warranty period and provider depend on the condition of the product as stated on your invoice:
| Product Condition | Warranty Period | Service Provider |
|---|---|---|
| New Retail (Boxed) | 3 – 5 Years (Standard) | Original Manufacturer (Intel, Dell, etc.) |
| New Bulk / OEM | 1 Year | JMAX |
| Refurbished / Used | 90 Days | JMAX |
2. What is Covered?
This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. During the warranty period, JMAX will, at its sole discretion:
- Repair the defective product using new or refurbished parts.
- Replace the product with a functional equivalent.
- Refund the current market value of the product if a replacement is not available.
3. What is NOT Covered? (Exclusions)
The warranty does not apply to:
- Damage caused by improper installation (e.g., bent CPU pins, static discharge).
- Damage resulting from misuse, overclocking, or mining activities.
- Products with missing or altered serial numbers/warranty void stickers.
- Physical damage caused by shipping (unless reported within 48 hours), accidents, fire, or liquid spills.
- Software issues or data loss.
4. Manufacturer Warranty Process
For New Retail products (e.g., Boxed Intel CPUs, Samsung SSDs), please contact the manufacturer directly for support. JMAX can assist by providing the necessary proof of purchase (Invoice), but the RMA process is handled by the brand’s local service center.
5. JMAX Warranty Claim Procedure
For products covered directly by JMAX (OEM/Refurbished), please follow these steps:
- Contact Support: Email support@jmaxserverchips.com with your Order ID, SN, and a description of the failure.
- Troubleshooting: Our technicians may request diagnostic logs (e.g., IPMI logs, Screenshots) to verify the hardware failure remotely.
- RMA Approval: If the issue cannot be resolved remotely, an RMA number will be issued.
- Return Shipping: The customer is responsible for shipping costs to JMAX’s facility. JMAX will cover the shipping costs of sending the repaired/replacement unit back to the customer.
